Quantifying by Time

Do not ever quantify your relationship by time coz you can spend years with a person and walk away with a feeling of not knowing the person or just spend a few minutes but feel that you have known the person for ages. Though, it's possible that this few-minutes-of-knowing can turn into a few-years-still-not-knowing the person ...,eventually...

not just relationships, the question to ask is, how well do you know the people you grew up with ? your family ?

in a way they are relationships too.. of a different kind

But I hope u get the point

hmm... so this: 'the question to ask is...' .. honestly.., i cant relate to why i shud be asking that in relation to my thoughts in the post..may be I m missing something.. may be..you like being a little obscure ..dont ya ? :) ...
from what i have grasped, that you might be trying to say, :..'no body can ever know anybody..and so relationships ( even the familial..) cant be quantified by time.... ' .. is that somewhere on the lines of ur thoughts... if so, then i guess asking that question ain't gonna help me any further...coz i was not asking for any answers in the first place, and u just reiterated my thought...hmm..if it's not this.. then i do not get ur point... :)
